Josanne, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the FCHS track and field team! She currently works as a science teacher for the school, but has competed at the highest level in the sport of track and field. For her native country of Trinidad and Tobago she competed at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The next year she followed that up by capturing the bronze medal in the 400m hurdles at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin. She would've also competed at the 2012 Olympics in London if it wasn't for an injury that derailed her season. All in all, Josanne competed as a pro for 9 years and she still currently holds the national record in 400m hurdles for Trinidad and Tobago with a time of 53.20!
